I offer Trauma focused yoga for every body type. There is no need to be super flexible or have previous yoga training. If I don't provide the cues you need for your body type, contact me or book a private or virtual private session and I will customize the practice for you.
Trauma focused yoga is different. I focus on simple poses allowing you to reconnect with your body and calm your nervous system. There are lots of cues and tips to keep you present in the moment, allowing a deeper relaxation. Many poses allow the psoas or hip flexor muscle to release as it is believed this "fight or flight" muscle is key to trauma recovery.
